Our Events

Bandit Market is Winter Haven's only alternative shopping event. We’re escaping the summer heat and holding the market indoors at Nora Mayo Hall on June 7, 2025. Thousands of attendees can shop with over 70 local artists, makers and vintage curators while enjoying delicious snacks, sweet treats and our infamous cocktails and mocktails! It’s the coolest event of the summer!

Holidays on Central is the largest holiday celebration in downtown Winter Haven. Thousands of guests descend upon downtown to enjoy live entertainment, specialty foods, interactive experiences and two enormous holiday markets - a traditional Mistletoe Market and the alternative local favorite, Bandit Market. Plus visits from Santa, photobooths, kids craft tents and more!

Polk at Nite is an exclusive cocktail party at the Ashley Gibson Barnett Museum of Art, unlike anything you've ever experienced! Tickets include exclusive evening access to the museum's featured exhibits, complimentary craft cocktails and small bites, chill beats by a live DJ, and a relaxed atmosphere to mingle and enjoy the museum.

We feature a wide variety of farmers, unusual food trucks, artisan food vendors, plants, and a variety of crafts. We host the market every Saturday morning 9 am – 1 pm at the corner of 3rd St and Avenue C across from the Grove Roots Brewery. Join us in celebrating a healthy, connected, community event that supports local farmers, businesses, and growers.

Bring your bike and meet at the Bike Shop of Winter Haven. As a group we "slow roll" through Downtown Winter Haven. We stop at Lake Silver to watch the world-famous Cypress Gardens Water Ski Team perform and then we head back to Grove Roots to hang out! This event is family friendly and a great way to see all the cool things happening in downtown Winter Haven.

First Friday is a monthly can't-miss event that brings the community out to downtown Winter Haven for dinner, drinks, vibes and shopping! Centered around our downtown corridor, patrons can enjoy food and drink specials from downtown restaurants, shop with downtown businesses who stay open late for the event, enjoy live music at multiple venues and explore a free car show.
